  • Adults with ADHD interested in becoming ADHD coaches: If you have personal experience with ADHD and a desire to support others facing similar challenges, this program will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a knowledgeable and compassionate ADHD coach. 
  • Parents of children with ADHD can greatly benefit from this training program as it equips them with valuable coaching tools and strategies to better understand and support their child’s executive function challenges.
  • Parents who wish to extend their support to other children in their community will gain the knowledge and skills to provide guidance and assistance to families navigating ADHD-related issues.
  • Teachers aiming to enhance their students’ lives: Teachers can deepen their understanding of executive function challenges, gain practical coaching techniques, and implement effective strategies to help students with ADHD thrive academically and personally.

What you will learn
  1. Gain in-depth knowledge about ADHD, including its symptoms, challenges, and potential strengths. This understanding will enable you to provide informed and effective coaching support to individuals with ADHD.
  2. Acquire a solid foundation in coaching principles, techniques, and best practices. You will learn how to establish a coaching relationship, effectively communicate with clients, and employ coaching tools and strategies to facilitate growth and progress.
  3. Become familiar with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching competencies, which serve as a framework for professional coaching. You will develop proficiency in applying these competencies specifically within the context of coaching individuals with ADHD.
  4. Learn how emotions and behavior patterns intersect with ADHD and develop strategies to support clients in managing their emotions effectively. You will also acquire behavior modification techniques to help clients develop positive habits and overcome challenges.
  5. Enhance executive function coaching skills, such as time management, organization, planning, and decision-making. You will learn how to assess and address executive function challenges and provide effective coaching support in strengthening these skills.
  6. Uphold ethical standards and professionalism: Trainees will understand and adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics, ensuring that they maintain the highest ethical standards in their coaching practice. They will also cultivate professionalism and a client-centered approach, fostering trust and creating a safe space for individuals with ADHD to thrive.
