Why
Why an ADHD diagnosis and treatment is worth it, no matter your age
Research has shown that, if left untreated, ADHD can destroy a person’s mental and physical health for decades before they even know they have it. Children, teens and adults who are aware that they have ADHD can realize that it is not their “fault” and get the confidence to try new coping mechanisms. As well, knowing that ADHD isn’t something that “happens” because of bad parenting and laziness, is a life-changing process.
